Legal sports betting comes to Michigan!

I like this legislation. I know some people do not, but with so much betting already taking place, this legislation brings it out in the open, regulates it, and earns some additional revenues for the K-12 schools of Michigan.

Simply put, this is an opportunity for Michigan and other states to capture some additional tax revenues that would otherwise head elsewhere.

I do wonder if legalized sports betting will result in a drop in crimes related to illegal sports betting. Here is hoping.


Facebook will run its first Super Bowl ad during Super Bowl LIV on February 2nd, 2020.

I am sorry, but any Facebook ad for the Super Bowl needs to be a shot focused on CEO Mark Zuckerberg, staring just off-camera, not blinking, nervous, with the tagline “Trust Us!”
