Our weekend was capped by a fun and busy day of making pierogi with my parents, siblings, their spouses, and kids.
We have made pierogi as part of the Christmas holiday season for probably almost 20 years now.
There was much rolling, filling, pinching, and boiling throughout the day.
We ended up with 50 dozen, comprised of potato & cheese (the favorite), sauerkraut, and a savory variety.
We all take some home to enjoy in the future, but the real treat is having them as part of our traditional Polish Christmas Eve dinner. Look up Wigilia.
